Left corner of a base with foot and lower hem of a draped standing female figure, from Salamis, Cyprus; sector: area south of the Rampart, square K VI/δ4, Classical period. Inventory Tc_1610; slide C_4382; negative 00706_05; notebook page 41. Moulded hollow terracotta, pinkish beige fabric, back smoothed and back preserved; width 5.7, height 13, base height 6. The base is right-angled, moulded downwards and perhaps semicircular; the shod foot turns slightly to the left, in the corner of the plinth, projecting a little beyond its edge. The long robe falls in flat vertical folds in strong relief and, over the instep, in an arc, with a sharp-edged hem. The side is very roughly finished, with bossing and clay flashes.
