Fragment of a mould-made terracotta bust of the Great Goddess in her various aspects, Classical period, Salamis, south of the rampart, square K VI/δ4, inventory SAL_3906 (Tc_1256), negatives 00803_05, 00803_06 and 00606_04, slide C_3812. Broken on all sides, with the whole right arm; the fingers are missing, lost at the vertical break through the middle (join point of the refit). The hand, palm against the bust, holds between thumb (the only finger preserved) and index, widely spaced, a round object that is probably a fruit. The upper left arm is caught in a garment, and 3 flat beads of a necklace remain. Back convex with coarse joins (bumps, impressions), back preserved; buff fabric, brown inside; hollow-moulded; the neckline is not marked. Right breast very damaged; the right part of the vent hole survives at waist height, H. 8.1, W. 6.2 cm. Inventory Tc_1256; 18 September 1968.
