Figurine of a horned figure, head and neck fragment
Object card: 1968. Mission archéologique française de Kition-Salamine (MOM, Lyon), Nakala, SAL_3473. "Figurine of a horned figure, head and neck fragment". CC BY 4.0. Resized.
Unmoulded figurine of the horned figure type, with broken chin; pink fabric with cream slip, full modelling. H. 4.2 cm. The head, absolutely vertical, appears fitted onto the neck, which instead lies horizontally, perpendicular to it; perhaps a centaur, otherwise possibly a vessel ornament. Salamis, area south of the rampart, square K VI/γ4. Inventory Tc_1012; 6 September 1968.

menton brisé. Pâte rose + engobe crème. Modelé plein. H. 4,2.
