Roman moulded lamp, Type 14 (cf. SAL 2477), from square K V/βγ10 in Sondage D, Salamis; inventory L_0413, slide C_2352, negatives 02237_04 and 02059_03. Complete, in orange-buff clay with a red-orange glaze damaged by fire; the medallion has an oak-leaf design and two filling holes, one at the centre and one at the rim in line with the nozzle, a pearl-crown border and a slightly concave flat base. H. 2.6 cm; ø 6.9 cm; ø base 4.3 cm; L. 9.3 cm; relief slightly worn. 13 April 1967.
