Object card

English, translated from the French record

Object card for a mould-less figurine of a bird, type Animaux, form Les oiseaux: a fragment of head and neck (broken), in pale ochre-pink fabric with traces of white slip, incised eyes and feathers (?), solid modelling, H. 4 (cm). Perhaps it belonged to a vase, perhaps it decorated a lid; the duck head certainly did not fit a folded modelled body. Salamis, area south of the rampart, square K VI/γ3; inventory Tc_0840; drawing D_0416; slides C_0385; negatives 02160_06, 02303_05, 02160_05; 10 April 1967.
