English, translated from the French record

Fragment of a bust of the Great Goddess holding a bird, broken on the left side where the breast, shoulder and arm are missing, and without the back; the lower part of the bird is hidden by the hand holding it. Red fabric with white slip, moulded hollow; H. 8.8 cm, W. 7.8 cm. The right arm is folded and the hand holds the bird, its thumb and fingers closed and indistinct, palm turned upward, so that the beak reaches the tip of the left breast. Round neckline at the neck, marked by a bead; the chest is free of the drapery above, and the breasts are separated by two deep incisions forming a flared V whose point is not visible. A mantle runs from the left shoulder under the right arm in a curve, reaching the hip and rising, it seems, along the upper right arm; the incisions between the breasts may represent a band or ribbon that held a central pendant. Classical period. Square K VI/δ4, sector: area south of the rampart. Plate PL_09, drawing D_0626, slides C_0362, negatives 02299_03, 02299_04, 02123_04. Inventory Tc_0574; 6 April 1967.
