Wheel-made closed lamp with horizontal handle, of classical period, from Sondage Z, square K V/α9, Salamis, Cyprus. Inventory L_0261; H. 3.8 cm; base ø 2.9 cm; feeding hole ø 2 cm; spout L. 6.9 cm, added and flat on top, joined to the body along the belly, with traces of fire at the spout. Globular body swelling in its upper part, ending in three concentric incised circles, with a central ridge and a slight depression around the feeding hole; conical lower part ending in a circular base with a slight projection (0.2 cm). Incomplete: handle broken. Very fine, hard salmon-coloured clay, unslipped except inside, where traces of red slip survive, flaking.
