Roman moulded lamp with Tyche medallion, Rampart

Moulded lamp, type 13, circular, without handle, with a slightly projecting nozzle and a decorated medallion showing a standing figure of Tyche, holding a cornucopia in her left hand and resting her right hand on a rudder; the relief is very worn. Incomplete, with only the upper part remaining; yellowish-white, fine and friable clay; feeding hole to the right of the representation, ø 6.5 cm. Similar in its characteristic features to Sal. 521, but different in size and clay. Square K VI/β1; α25; Salamis, Cyprus. Inventory L_0257; Roman; 24 September 1966.
