Archaic open lamp of the cup-shaped type, wheel-made, with the spout shaped afterwards between thumb and forefinger, inventory L_0253. Pink, poorly fired clay; the yellow slip has flaked away and almost completely disappeared. The base is slightly convex, with traces of polishing; the lamp is incomplete and broken at the back, with fire traces at the spout. Dimensions: H. 1 = 13; 1 bec = 4; L conserved = 9.5. Found in square K V/α9, Sondage Z, Salamis, at the foundations of an Archaic wall built on the Geometric level; date 13 April 1965.
