E. wall of Bath, Main hall - and has been almost all torn away. The eastward extension of S. wall of N: 6 seems different. The down pipe in S. wall, probably connected with the channel running to the bottle cistern by vestibule, but could also have fed cistern near SE angle of N: 6. This cist, looks as tho it had been bridged over by a wall which once ran S. and aligned with the N.W, angle of the older peristyle in the Peribolos. Bottle cistern: by Vestibule Fed 1) from W, pipe under S. side of Vestibule, running from a joint box at N.W angle of W: 5. prior to joint, line led from S. 2) from N.W. pipe under mosaic, coming from N, but no communication left. may have connected with pipe in Room N: 1. 3) From E. Three lines converging: a. Shallow trace points toward 'bridge' slab in N: 5 - N: 6 - Cut by all walls to N. of Area. (May have gone N.E?) b. Deeper line, with pipes pres, from settling box in N: 6 c Channel || to steps to W. Portico, which took pipes from down spout in S. wall of Room N. 6
