The wall with large, long block on top dividing 1 - 1a is pre-floor level - its fdn belongs with the best ARC. constr. It ends against Rock at the S, just under face of wall between 1 & 2 and was cut at N, ca .60 south of north wall of 1. (Fate wall - 1 -)

Rooms W: 3, W:4 originally made 3 rooms. Lower level of the entrances or sills? are quite plain for the eastern two. They are at level of floor flags of W:4

W. Entrance, Wall to N. of threshold is double faced, and 1.40 th. Is this because they carried out the line of west face of - 5 -? and also used E. face of a parallel wall N. of entrance. This last of best ARC constr.

N.B. E. wall room N:3 has to be shifted. The door cuttings for N:4 are ok. [illegible] have now measured.

The cistern in S E. corner of vestibule must have been closed when vestibule was paved - or there must have been an awkward re-entrant to clear mouth of cistern. - or - which is possible, mouth of cistern, if still used, could have been spanned by a low arch whose top could have been below floor level.

W. Corridor - 5 openings of about 2:30 m. Begin 1. m from S. face of wall at S. end of room.
