July 28'Palati' N.E. block. Earliest wall is -62-, runs deep below footing of -61- associate it with rock steps in Rm (25) and northward return in (28) -55- next later, very deep fdn. A. C. type. can be traced to rock steps in (25). It makes corner with -40- below sill level. -57- contemp w. -55-, fces top is full .50 below bottom of -41-. -58- is also contemp. -56- is latest, as is -43-, both rest on fill about .80 below top of -55-. -55- visible part on W. of (22) (27) looks late but at flagstone level. in (24) it may be OK. -63- may go with -55-, -59- a late wall bedded on fill with .20 c between it and top fces. of -63- beyond (S) of -59- no sure indic for -55-. N. of -44- no fdn fn -32-. for rock comes up high, However, further S., W. of (24) the fdn for -32- is same as for -55-. and they should be contemp. -59- is if a wall, probably even later than -61- and late upper part of 55. -41-, -56-, -43-, -44-, -60-, -45- all go with wall 61-. Note. in (23) flagging does not go as far as wall -44-, there may have been a bench here. There is a chang in constr of -61- S. of (24). To N. wall goes deeper and a definite angle seen between (drawing)
