(Bones in Tomb 8) the long bone lies N of the r. arm, at a level .02 or .03 higher. NE group: Bones of several persons piled together. On the bottom, toward the N wall, emerging from under the pile apparently an ordered skeleton, of which visible the head turned toward the N wall, jaws closed (teeth preserved), upper part of spinal column and ribs, a shoulder, right upper and lower arms (lower arm bones somewhat scattered), right iliac bone, right upper and lower leg and perhaps some toes. The ribs lies somewhat over the right humerus. There are upper and lower arm bones about in place on the left side but too high, and I think I see [margin left: No. See p. 915] the proper left humerus disappearing like the right one under some ribs. Part of the left leg seems to be visible, but confusion there still. S of the head at the same level, another large cranium frag., possibly from same cranium? Otherwise properly the second thin set may belong to it. Resting

(Bones in Tomb 8) partly on the head first-described, humerus (?) laid as though taking place of cervical and conting vertebrae (cf. same odd effect in Tomb 9). A radius and humerus, ulna rest on the ribs at .54. Resting ca. .04 higher alongside middle part of the skeleton, femur? This bone lies E-W. Others laid the same way lie at more or less this level further W over the skeleton and a little S of the skeleton. A few are higher. S of the lower legs, frags. of a cranium (highest of all the bones here) lying on somewhat uneven level, with which there are no other bones of clear connection. S of the 2nd group of cranium frags. (the one next the head of the ordered skeleton) with level only a little higher, a third crushed skull in the row there. There were earrings properly related to this head (as Christo informs me) but no skeleton in order connected with it (actually no bones in the proper place now). Thigh bone, femur or possibly humerus N of skeleton cranium, a alongside wall of tomb.
