April 318 men- 7 wheel barrows Finished ν-ρ βοριον 16-18. Began cleaning out section κ-ν βοριον 0-10, to modern floor of small stones set on edge. 42 rds wheel barrows here. Digging continued π-ρ νοτιον 0-4 & ξ-π νοτιον 6-6. Noted that good quninfer of hellenistic sherds came out at π-ρ νοτιον at 40 cm. over cistern. at ξ-π 740 came all ground over cistern consists of artificial fill which must be dated by what is there Trench at κ-Λ νοτιον 0-2 went to depth of 7 metres today.
