W. propylon court S.W. corner bedrock 0.0 - 0.20 above rock.
Removed from bedrock s.w. corner of W. propylon court, reddish moderately compact soil, about 1/8 bucket sherds and 1/4 bucket tiles which I have stacked in s.w. corner of court.
W. Bldg. room 3
Removed W. Bldg. room 3 0 - 0.86 w. of threshold block, and 0 - 0.42 n. of s. wall. 2231-1, light colored clean soil without any stones - rather compact. About 1/8 bucket sherds. No tiles. From here came 3 lamp frags F 1354.

Removed S.E. Bldg. E 28-30 S 0 - 11.50; N 0-12 loose dull brown earth, many rough stones from fist to foot size, about 3/4 bucket sherds, about 1 bucket tiles and fruits 1355-57. Removed also E 28-30, S 2-7 2235-2 2237-2 loose dull brown soil many rough stones - probably fill. Unwashed sherds look earlier than 4th cent. A.D. About 1 bucket sherds and same amount of tiles which I have stored at S. 50 E.
