Bldg. a trench to find water pipe line to depth of 0.87m below most western block in wall dividing rooms 3 and 4 of W. Bldg! - below top of it, 2230-1, loose brown soil - not very loose! small rough stones only rather few, no debris whatsoever; no tiles, only 2 sherds placed in box, with some glass frags. Area dug N of wall dividing rooms 3 & 4 on 2.00, S. of wall 1.60 m.
