In both layers, the absence of the later type of lamps is striking. There are no lamps with crosses or with galloping horses. However this fill is late as shown by C 2177 Arcadius or Honorius. It is possible that the lowest layer is contemporary with that the lowest layer of the cellar of Room O and that both places were contemporaneously filled in. The fill with its plaster and nails reminds one of the fill in cellar under flagstones and in cellar of Room O. However, plaster and nails was might be found in almost any fill of this period. The early lamps reminds one of early lamps in cellar of Room O. The coin C 2177 dates the building of the wall after, in in or after the reign of Arcadius or Honorius. It is highly improbable that the coin fell down from the wall abov through the cracks between the stones from the wall above.
