of large room. Cleared SW corner of large room fourth layer, no cutting for wall. Cleaning fifth no cutting for wall. The fourth came with change in wall. The fifth is below it. In north trench of room west of large cleared to eleven tenth eleventh layer, cleaning twelfth. In Room Beta cleared. first layer between north wall and wall just south of north. Removed stones beside east wall cleaned first layer west of them. Cleaning trench south of building.

8. second layer of entrance east of mosaic entrance. not a floor. First layer 10-12 cm thick second 3-4 cm.
In room Beta, the soil of first layer against east wall is about 50 cm high. South of south north wall, there is a floor north of south north wall, there is a filling of blocks of cement. and rough soil, not a floor. In room Beta against east wall extending west about 160 cm is on first, a layer of white soil 15 cm thick. The hearth is imbedded in this layer. However the stone in front of the door rests on the soil below except on west side where a little white soil extends under it. This white top layer is probably connected with hearth. Under There is at places a thin black between white soil
