under mosaic bath is of a different nature in both instances being whiter and not so hard in drain from apsidal bath. It would seem that the cement on inside of east side of drain, which is one layer and instead of two as on the west side was broken at entrance of drain from apsidal bath and the cement lining of south side of drain from apsidal bath meets against projecting edge of lining of drain from on east side of drain from bath under mosaic. The cement on east side of drain under entrance to tepidarium sto may well be the same as that on east side of drain from bath under mosaic.
The roof of the drain under entrance room to tepidarium extends west with at the same level on under side for 90 cm. It is composed of stones (2) two stones one the first with a maximum width of 40 cm. Beyond this point the roof over drain drops down about 21 cm.
