Digging second layer of trench for dump of theater, a number of stones and architectural blocks.
[sherdbag 37] Digging Dug grayish lay between eighth and ninth layer in cellar of Room O. This layer was in NW corner and extended up over the ninth. This layer may have come from cellar of Room QM, being put in front of door of Room M. The differ difference between this soil and that of the rest ninth layer was one chiefly of eye, which in the semi light of the cellar It was very hard to make out. The division between these two soils is not to be trusted. * South staircase clearing soil out of this. Stratification confused. * Sherdbags [16] ? [18]
