At The wall between rooms north of large is bonded in its upper part with the north wall of large room. The north wall of rooms north of large may or may not be bonded. In the north-east corner is a stone which makes a corner. However Two Tet the north wall is bonded. However the style of this wall is different and resembles that of second period. Could it have been constructed this way in the later building to fit in with the style of second and theater. Or is it

Or could it have been torn down and then rebuilt, this time with a slight bonding in the corner. This seems unlikely, but raises the whole of what was the condition of the walls of the second period when the construction of the palace began. Was the second period building of the second period destroyed by an earth-quake. But it would seem unnecessary to cut a stone to even

to reutilize an already cut stone unless the wall were being built for the first time or else reconstructed from the ground up.

However Moreover this wall does not follow line of stone pillar to west of it, for this seems to is be parallel not with the building of the second period but of the first.

However, the building of the second period must have had a wall on the north end. One would naturally suppose that the north wall of palace was it except that. there is a slight bonding on with east wall of large room. Not only must the building of the second period have had a north wall but also an east.

Might not the small bit of wall on west side of east room north of large be part of the north wall? It seems hardly to fill any adequate purpose where it is and to have been cut by EW mud-wall.
