July 12, 1954For purposes of drawings we clean Wall A (p 36) along its full exposed length, and on both sides of the corner it forms with Wall B. Both are seen to be part of one construction. Wall A goes under Wall C and seems also to go under Wall D, and A & B are thus seen to be part of an earlier construction than those represented by C & D. From among fallen stones south of the corner of A & B comes a small scarab.
