[margin left: Roll 4 # 28.29] carried across the entire width of the room as far as the south wall. The southernmost block is 0.51 wide & 0.93 long.
We dig down along the east face of this block and find another floor level with its bottom edge, 1.07 below the preserved top of the pedestal
In the east scarp of our cut we find a "bolster" block for a bench 0.64 long & ca 0.20 high. This is left in situ. It is the same size as the one previously discovered in this room.
We take out the south half of the filling within the pedestal. This is seen to be entirely of rough stones & earth (infiltrated?)
[margin left: Roll 4 #32] [margin left: P. R. 2 V. 7.] The block forming the north side of the pedestal is seen to be roughly finished inside. At the corner it forms inside with the west wall of the room it is broken diagonally and here the missing parts are filled in with white plaster. There is plaster filling likewise along its lower intern edge.
[margin left: Roll 4 #31] Some small sections of fine white wall plaster adhere to its outer surface & molding. Similar to that on the walls of the room.
