July 2, 1954 It appears to have been interrupted by an entrance at the head of a series of two steps up to the deep. basin. Below and to the left of the steps as one faces NE is a cutting in the bedrock opening into a great underground chamber which is at present filled with dirt and stones. It seems almost certain that this is contiguous with the so-called stable of 21:24 in which case the underground chamber is vast indeed. Below and to the right of the steps (facing NE) one finds a cutting in the bedrock floor, roughly rectangular 70 × 85 cm. with dirt and stone filling. Cleared to 65 cm.

July 3, 1954

Clear off a plot 90 × 130 cm. in order to free the NE corner of 21:25. From this it is evident that the deep basin outside the door of 20:9 belongs to 20:9 perhaps as an outdoor court and is not included in the plan of 21:25.
