[margin left: 18.11.48 to 20.11.48] Start finishing to dig the square section south & east of T. 19. After digging out some intrusions find two heavy foundations at right angles. The western one apparently went up on the rock to the N. where there is a cutting. A brick fill was found flush with the tops of the walls, apparently thrown in after they were built. A layer of loose chavara & some ash on top of the brick level may be a floor.

Photos Bame '48. H 5-6 chand to an arbitrary level in fill.
