9-6-38Dig below 9.92 (see p. 173), through sandy brown earth, and find a sandy brown floor at 10.07 There are many sherds and some large stones lying on the floor. In the west this brown earth stops with white clayey earth. Photos of 16:7B at 10.07 with finds in situ.
Some of the pithos sherds go below 10.07, to the 10.20 floor, which we now start to clear.
