Dig through the L.C. II stoney fill. As elsewhere it consists of loose stones in loose red earth. Dig the part in the north under the clay separately, but it seems to be part of the same fill. Both sections stop at a layer of vaguely greyer earth, firmer, and with only a few stones. It slopes down to 12.21 in the N-E Photos 265-6 at 12.21
