11-4-38L.C. II walls under 2:26, 21 N, etc.

Removing the loose red earth with tumbled stones (p. 66, strosis 3) in 2:21 N, we find loose grey earth with ash under the outer N-E corner of 2:26, going to p. 134, #4. Digging down in the small section of this preserved, find the edge of a composition floor like that in 2:28. This seems to be cut for wall #4. South of wall #4 find another solid stone wall, projecting E. of the E. wall of 2:26 into 2:21 N, and to the edge of the rock stone cutting in 2:26. In 2:26 find more of the composition floor, at the N. of the wall. Over this is a thin layer, probably trod, of clayey red-brown earth.

12-4-38| South of the wall in 2:26 we find loose red earth of strosis 3 (strosis 3a), going down to strosis 3b, brown earth, slightly grey, also seemingly tumble. This 3b is highest under the E. door of 2:26, and slopes down to the N. It is the same as the grey earth in 2:17 (p. 52 (drawing)).
