28.8.37 from p. 75 TRENCH 2

Unit 24: Finish digging below 11.11 = 11.38 (11.47 measured above is in unit 27 East), and find a packed habitation level at 11.16 = 11.41. Some pots rest on this floor and some go below, showing that this is an accumulation over the original floor. Dig below 11.16 = 11.41

Photo Bam. 142 of 2: 21, 22 at end of season Unit 21 North: The gravel patch noted on p. 73 is covered by and rests on the red earth of strosis #2, so it is probably fortuitous and is part of the fill. We dig through it.

Photo Bam 141 (p. 72) Unit 27: West wall (?) Dig below the 10.70 = 10.94 level (25 B), and find a change of earth (

at the level of the 11.16 = 11.41 floor. Previously in digging this wall line by unit 28 we found traces of a door-- a pivot block, SQ 47 (drawing), left, a long silking which may have held a wooden threshold. Today we find a post-hole at the north of this door unit, visible at the 11.16 = 11.41
