14-4-37| TRENCH 2 from p. 81 | Unit 16: Dig below the 9.78 = 10.32 level, through red-brown earth, clarifying a wall at the east. From now on I will speak of the part west of the wall only as unit 16, of the east part as unit 20.

15-4-37 Unit 20: open from the surface to the north.

Unit 3: clean the N part of the N.E platform, finding a level of clayish mud at 10.06

clear the E part of the south basins.

Dig down in the SE pit intrusion, which seems to start from the 10.03 = 10.07 floor.

Photos Bam 72-74 of SW basins cleared (see p. 86) The pit intrusion stops at 10.38

Unit 19: Find a floor of red-brown earth at 10.56 = 10.59. (South) In the east ^(ca. 1.50 east of wall to unit 8) the earth is greyer, so we suspect disturbance, though the texture. is good and the line of demarcation from the red is not clear. Dig the greyer earth away to 10.66 = 11.01. (See p. 105) (To p. 85)
