9-11-35 TOMB NO. 30 (Mersinoudhkia)
Clear the dromos to the bottom, and draw a diagram showing the section of earth left along the west side. There is a distinct difference between the fill below the line from the foot of the lowest step to the top of the lowest group of stones in the door and the fill above. This seems to represent a possible first of ^(two?) several uses of the tomb. A second layer goes as far as the line between the top of the second step from the top and directly under the pot in the dromos by the door. In this strosis no stones show in the door. This would seem to be the dirt thrown out while preparing the tomb for the second burial. That this is an accumulation in an otherwise open dromos seems unlikely, since it goes through the door, showing that the tomb door was open at the time the strosis accumulated. The third strosis goes to the top of the dromos cutting, and represents the final filling of it.
Note: there was only one layer inside, but several skeletons

9-11-35 TOMB NO. 31 (Mersinoudhkia)
Digging in the dromos continues, with four men. A late disturbance did not go down far, so one fear of plundering was allayed.
11-11-35 Continue clearing the dromos. At a depth of 0.60 find two worked rectangular blocks 0.82 x 0.63 x 0.25 0.98 x 0.64 x 0.20 .
14-11-35 Finish clearing dromos. Photo 7 of dromos. The main door is closed by a large slab of sand-stone. On the south side is another group of slabs, apparently closing another door. The slab closing The main door is surro lined with rubble walls of unhewn stones
15-11-35 Start clearing the chamber. Several large plain pots come into sight well above the floor. Perhaps there were two burials in this tomb.
18-11-35 Continue clearing the chamber, leaving a large pillar of earth in the center for additional support. (to p. 46)
