20-11-35 TOMB NO. 37
PFind the dromoi of tombs 37 + 38, the former (apparently) crossed by the latter. Begin clearing the dromos of 37.
22-11-35 Begin opening the earth over the chamber. The top of the door is so high that it would be dangerous to open the tomb from below.

24-11-35 Remove 30 objects, including an Egyptian scarab from the chamber. There was no trace of bones where the arrangement would have led one to expect a skeleton, but the bones of an adult woman were found in pot no. 25. They were in relatively good condition, but it is clear, both from their arrangement and their size that they were not placed there until the body had disintegrated.

The ἀμμόρακα noted above belongs to it and was close to the door. This tomb (which we will call no. 39) has been plundered, but several pots remain
26-11-35 Finish clearing tomb no. 38. The only finds remaining are a few objects from the second tomb. It is on the same floor as the first, of whose contents absolutely nothing remains. It must have been cleared out in laying the second tomb
