Removed small amount soil below level of pipe line 0-0.40 m. west of Curium Gate wall on course of pipe line only; handful of sherds only. No other finds. Soil about same as 2913-2. The east face of the porch wall does not reach the depth of the pipe line. It is founded on earth. No trace of pipe line.was found here but the remains of the pipe line occur immediately to the west of the w. porch wall.
