Diary page 1710 1/2 tin of shards. Found lamp frag. on top of p. 1681-3, p 1681-3, p 839. I see now it is a little higher and in 1681-2. See Film 133-1. Found also some glass in 1681-2. Began removing tiles in room 4, west of Temple A on 1673-2. Removed one complete pan tile (F 840) and one fairly complete one (F 841) and frag. of cover tile (F 842). All these were in the south half of room lying in roof debris near what appears to be a floor level. Removing surface soil from debris of stones in Trench 11, n. 0-9 m. and east 0-14.00 m.; also finished removing surface soil south 0-4.00, east 0-14. See Film 132-32 for n. 0-9.00. Original trench was south 0-2 and east 0-14. See plans pp. 1653, 5, 7, and sections 1667 and 1669. Some of surface soil, 0-4.00 east contained some of our own pre-war dump.

All along the wall from 4.00 - 12.00 north and at a distance varying from 0.20 m. to 0.60 m. west of it larger stones than elsewhere appear in the fill p. 1709-2. See film 133 - . See also 1711-2 same fill.
