June 5Began throwing out tiles from bags. If none of the tiles have been photographed in a pile AFTER being removed from Fill this indicates all have been left unless I write on back of tag and a part have been left. Those that are photographed are usually thrown out. When I write on back of tag ½ of remaining kept this means half of what has not been already photographed and thrown out. If there is no photograph and nothing written on back of tag then all have been kept and are in the bag. There may be of course several bags for one fill. If I say ½ of remaining kept but there is no photograph then only ½ in all has

Dug 3rd corridor E-Z and 4th stratum clay fill - very definitely clay either for floor or fallen from roof. Late ribbed ware in this fill - tops of two large stones in this fill are nearly level with each other and with top of fill but seem to rise above it.
