March 19. Much the same as yesterday. Found marble statue of woman South Bldg. Room 2, find page ___
March 20. Continued removing surface soil from Rooms 2 & 5. Began Sta (?) of Room 5. Christo finished digging to rock bottom Trench 5 B-Gamma east 8-10.
March 21. Much the same as yesterday. Christo dug 2nd, 3rd, and 4th strata of southern part of Room 4, South Building.
March 23. Monday. Finish removing surface soil from Room 1 & 5. Dug just east of room 5 (Trench 5, Gamma-Xi east 29-32)
Mar. 24. Much the same.
Mar. 25. Christo dug second stratum in northern end of room 2. Dug north & west of South Building to show better walls of Building.
March 26. Continued clearing south wall of South Building Trench 5 B-Gamma. Christo began digging 2nd strata Trench 5 0-Pi east 26-28. See photos p. 105 no. 17.
March 27. Much the same. Began digging Trench 1 A-B south 4 to cistern.
March 28. Same. Also removed second stratum 0-2 west of west wall of South Building.
March 28(sic). Only 10 men working - removed second stratum 0-2 west of South Building & surface soil west 2-4. Removed surface soil Trench 1 A-B south 4-6.16 2-4.
March 30. Much the same. Removed second stratum west 2-4 of South Building.
March 31. Removed 2nd stratum of Room 1, centre. Dug Trench 1.
April 1. Removed second stratum of Room 2, South Building. Dug Trench 1. Began removing second stratum 0-2 east of east wall of South Building.
April 2. Finished second stratum 0-4 east of east wall of South Building. Dug Trench 1 second stratum A-a south 14-18. Continued removing surface soil south Trench 1 0-20 A-delta and began Gamma- Epsilon south 0-2. Found coin 147 p. 125 in water trough.
April 3. Dug 2nd & 3rd strata gamma-delta south 6-8. Cleared steps of Trench 1.
