Continue clearing the east chamber. At back left hand side find a number of stones and a cutting in the earth which must be for the dromos of another tomb. The stones lie over some of t he objects in our tomb.
At the rear of the chamber, and partially under the biggest of the stones mentioned in the above paragraph, find a large fragment of a tripod which fits the foot found in tomb 36-West. How the tripod came to be divided between the two tombs it is hard to say. The finding of both fragments occurred in my presence, and the report is certain. In both tombs the fragments were well back, so that there is no question of modern mixing. One wonders if both chambers were used at the same time, and that the tripod, though broken by chance, was thrown in anyway, but got mixed up and one piece got into the wrong chamber.
