General notes on Tomb 25, after clearing.

The original order in the tomb is not known. It was disturbed by Tomb 24γ when it was dug, but apparently not robbed. It had not yet caved in then. The contents of the tomb were thrown in a heap against the right wall, and the skeleton was largely demolished. A wall was built between 24γ and 25, to separate the two and support the walls. Tomb 24β overlaps Tomb 25.

Not enough remains of the skeleton in 25 to know its nature. What bones were preserved were, however, very small, so it probably was a child. One gold earring was found by a fragment of the skull. It seems unlikely that the other was stolen at the time the tomb was broken into, for both would have been visible, and both taken.
