BAMBOULA, VOUPHA TOMB

NB VIII, p.S9

March, 1939

The line of tombs 6,12,16,25,24, in lots 236 and 270 is broken just east of Tmb 24 by a large number of vouphes (grain-pits). From the large number of sherds, pots, etc., found in this region, it seems certain that there was a tomb here, though no trace could be found.of it. This region is thus called "Voupha Tomb". The sherds, nos.1-3,were built into one of the vouphes.
