B. Period B consists of the L.C.II floor levels. The 7.25 floor in 21:12 may have been used into this period, but since all the sherds in the floor material are of L.C.I date, it has been listed in A(2). (1) Material below the L.C.II floor was found in 21:17N, 6.87 to clay over 7.08. The following sherds were found: 4% plain 7 sherds White Slip II (of one pot?) 1 " White Slip I 4 " Base Ring 15 " Red Polished, etc. 25 decorated sherds

C. For the most part only one clear L.C.III floor was found, with pottery lying in-situ directly upon it. In 21:12, however, traces of a second plaster floor were found over that registered at 7.17. The material of the lower of the two floors was entirely L.C.II, and has been considered under B(3) above. The upper floor was built during L.C.III, but it wore, and in many cases the main L.C.III deposit was lying directly upon the earlier 7.17 floor. The material in the upper floor has thus been considered under C(2), in spite of the fact that the pottery of C(5) lies in places on the lower floor. (1) contains material of L.C.III date lying under the floor material. The levels are: 21:17N, 6.70 to 6.72; 21:17S, 6.70 to 6.83, E and W pits below 6.83; 21:29, 6.62 to 6.65. The sherds were:
