Sh 71 corresponds Area A Stratum D (3) House VI. In addition to the sherds, 6 fragments of unbridged lamps and several metal fragments were found: M 18, M 22 and M 35.

VI-VII Detailed sherd lists for these periods were not compiled by Daniel, who hoped to discuss them at a later date when a study of the stratification at the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates and the acropolis of Kourion might have made the chronology of the pottery clearer. Preliminary investigation made in the field indicated that the pottery of Stratum VI was Hellenistic, that of Stratum VII Roman of the first or second century A.D.

VIII Sherds found in the dark earth over bed-rock and in the disturbed pits outside the circuit wall. They contain the latest material which accumulated prior to the collapse of the wall.
