February 4, 1985Dear David:

I have sworn that THIS WEEK I AM going to get with it with my much neglected correspondence!

In your direction I will answer your second letter first and the first one a bit later.

With regard to your request to have Michaelides as co-author for the Kourion mosaics publication. I have consulted with Spyros Iakovides, our Chairman. His reaction is as follows:

"Michaelides is OK as far as I can tell. I have heard all kinds of complimentary comments on his work. Let him be a co-author, as long _as this does not involve any delays in publishing the volume._"

I would opine that actually it might speed up the volume since I gather that he has done a great deal of research in library publications and no doubt knows all the mosaics in Cyprus well.

The only thought would be whether or not this would involve us in further expense for preparation. That is a consideration on which we would like to be informed.

With all good greetings,
