April 12, 1983Dear Spyro:

Kourion, The Mint

This has been reported in two of our publications, as follows:

Last, Joseph S. Kourion: The Ancient Water Supply Proceedings of the American Philosophical Society, vol. 119, no. 1, February, 1975, p. 54 (brief mention)

Cox, Dorothy Hannah Coins from the Excavations at Curium, 1932-1953. Numismatic Notes and Monographs, no. 145. The American Numismatic Society, New York, 1959, pp. 117 ff. (full summary)

No further publication, in view of the above, seems needed.

We have the notebook account by Miss Cox. Unfortunately it is in pencil which is illegible in ordinary Xerox. I understand that one of the Replica establishments down town may be able to bring out the writing. I will make a special trip in a day or two to see if we can produce a legible copy to send Mr. Megaw.
