DEAR PROF. EDWARDS 17 IV 81 I'M IN EPISKOPI WORKING ON THE EUSTOLIOS MOSAICS.

THE WORK IS GOING WELL ON THE WHOLE WITH ITS UP AND DOWNS. THE MOST NOTABLE DOWNS ARE THE NOTE BOOKS. NOTHING FINAL CAN BE DONE UNTIL I HAVE SOME ANSWERS TO NUMEROUS QUESTIONS CONCERNING THEM AND THE EXCAVATIONS. THE UPS ARE THE FACT THAT THE SMALL FINDS INCLUDING COINS ARE STILL IN EXISTENCE. MY FINDS TO DATE ARE INTERESTING I THINK. IT SHOULD BE A USEFUL PUBLICATION WHEN I FINISH IT.
