Dear Peter:

I am sorry to write you again so soon, but I saw Martin Biddle yesterday and discussed with him the possibility of a joint publication of the Kourion Basilica report by the Pennsylvania University Museum and Dumbarton Oaks. We are in agreement that our first concern is to see to it that the report appears promptly and in a suitable form and that we shall be happy to collaborate either on the basis of production by the Museum with financial support from us (which you mention in your letter to Mr. Edwards of 12 November 1979) or, if it seems more suitable, vice versa. Whether the report is best fitted to appear as a Pennsylvania Museum monograph or in the Dumbarton Oaks Papers may depend on its nature and size when it is finished. We look forward to hearing estimates of the number of pages and plates, therefore, as soon as you are in a position to give them.

With best wishes to Elektra and yourself.

Yours ever,
