October 16, 1979Professor G. Roger Edwards, Classical Archaeology Group, University Museum, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104 U.S.A.

Dear Professor Edwards,

In your letter of 1 October it was not clear how I should proceed in collecting the $2750 (less the amount for Angus Burbridge, which I assume has been sent to him in London by now). I would prefer to receive the remainder in a lump sum at some point between now and June 1980. Is this a possibility? Please advise on the procedures used by the Museum for dispersing grant funds.

Although at times I think I am going backward one step for every two steps forward in terms of my various professional activities, noticeable progress and some success has been made in my interim pursuits.

Cordially yours,
