August 3, 1978Dear Saul:

As a postscript to my letter about your manuscript: it occurred to me that now we were so far along I had better investigate the matter of the architectural plans. So I got out those we have on file here. They are rather a discouraging lot, I must say. Some may be usable with a little fixing up perhaps. Some exist only in sun-prints. I suppose these too could be traced. But there seems to be a general dearth of usable original drawings.

So I am writing to you if you have any of the original drawings. And I am also writing to Christophis Polycarpou in Episkopi to see if original drawings are on file there. One way or another I trust we can provide adequate illustrations for you.

When you get around to it I trust you will send me a list of the drawings your manuscript will require. That will help me to plan on what needs to be done.

P.S. I suppose it is possible that Pete never got around to having final drawings prepared in some cases.
