July 24, 1978Dear Saul:

I was delighted to receive your manuscript and to hear that there is still more to come.

Since you would like to hear of its safe arrival I write at once to tell you that it is here. I will be glad to read it promptly. I expect more to be informed and to be able to tell you if it comes across rather than otherwise. As one of the (I suppose still) few Mycenaean monuments of Cyprus it should be very important.

Good luck with the remainder. I greet you from among Phrygian horse burials!

Sincerely,

Handwritten: Roger
