June 7, 1977Dr. G. Roger Edwards Department of Classical Archaeology University Museum University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia, PA U.S.A.

Dear Dr. Edwards:

At last I can say that I am going to Cyprus this month. The American Philosophical Society awarded me a grant for my two weeks work at Kourion. I will spend the last part of June and the first part of July at Kourion. When I return at the end of July, I will send a cheque to the museum (via you) to pay for the xeroxing and the photographs. The conditions of the grant is that I must give them to the Library of Congress when I am finished with them.

Enclosed is a copy of my letter of reply to one Michaelides sent me in March. I have not heard from him since. I will discuss the matter further with Karageorghis when I'm on Cyprus. This matter with Michaelides is becoming bothersome.

If you need to get in contact with me, you can write in care of the Brock University Archaeological Practicum, Larnaca Vocational School, Larnaca, Cyprus between now and July 10th and at the ASCS until July 28.

Progress is being made slowly.

Best wishes,
