Dear Dr. Edwards:
Thank you very much for your three letters which arrived on separate days out of their chronological sequence. The mail certainly is erratic these days. I am awaiting the package of drawings and prints which should arrive shortly.
Your suggestion that I include within the scope of my study the architecture of the so-called "Palace" and Bath at Kourion as well as the mosaics does in fact interest me. I am willing to undertake to write such an account but at this point I have no idea what effect this will have on the ultimate completion date for the entire project.
I am hoping to get to Greece in late July and then to Cyprus for a short visit. This visit would provide me with the opportunity of seeing the Kourion mosaics and buildings first hand. I will not find out whether or not I will be going until some time next month. If I go I probably would depart from New York. Do you expect to be around Philadelphia in the latter part of July? I think that I need a day at the Museum studying the relevant notebooks and looking at the prints of the other negatives that you mentioned as well as discussing the whole project with you.
We have launched this project, indeed.
Cordially yours,
